Kind of glitchy. Works most days, but occasionally it will just show a blank screen.

Only getting a blank white screen today. Worked fine yesterday. The other app works ok.

The loading time is longer and longer

Mostly, these are “second-tier” apps, meaning, they are not the most popular in their genre and usually not very polished. Lastly, it’s not guaranteed that you actually get a previously-paid-for app, as sometimes you still get presented with the in-app purchase option, which defeats the purpose of this app in the first place.

This is a great app! A good mixture of a lot of really good apps that normally cost to get them. There are some business apps, games, children's learning and play apps - something for everyone! Thank you.

WHEN AND IF it works. So much lately it's either not loaded or they have apps that won't load the free lifetime version. Some even you go through all the steps and onboarding and get the free lifetime... Only to have it tell you the next day you need to pay for it. Please fix it!

I’ve really enjoyed this app for many years. After updating today the load times for any selected app seems to take forever to come up for review. Uninstalled/installed, no change. Will continue to use, hoping the load times will improve.

Can you bring the games back?

99% I find good apps that almost always are lifetime at their highest level. Worth daily look.

I’ve used this app for a couple of years and it’s quite useful. You always find great apps for free. I highly recommend it for your 5 minute break or your perfect app with a cup of coffee

Do you expect everyone to believe that these apps are 79.99 to 199.00? Sure I get it that you can get the free app if you download, go to settings, unlock the free deal. But who is making up these app prices??

I use this app every day and over 15 years now, trust me it saved me over $1000. I highly recommend this app.

Be Careful!! I have seen some (one today) that leads you to believe you received the Pro version for lifetime free but doesn’t unlock the Pro features. It insists on a subscription to provide that service. I’ve used AppsGoneFree for years but have noticed they occasionally feature some promising apps but then they don’t deliver as advertised.

This is easily the best app in the App Store!

Luma AI is a prime example. Surely you have the ability to check if offers are fulfilled or not!🙏🏻 hope more permanently free and less 26 week trial apps will be introduced in future. keep up the mostly good work. 👍

Pros: Love this app. I get a lot of apps free that I would otherwise pay for. It’s great to be able to use the one time free app to play with to see if it’s something I would want. It saves me a lot of money. Cons: some apps that are supposedly free on the one day expire later in that day. Also, one app I downloaded cost me money when I wanted the no ads version which was supposedly free from AppAdvice when you chose to update to no ads. I was able to get a refund from iTunes which was good. But there should be instructions on how to properly update to the no ads within the app. If AppAdvice says to update to ad free, the app should not say “Agree to purchase at .99” Other than that, the educational apps alone are wonderful, especially during the pandemic.i

Love the app but it is regularly freezing or not loading current day’s apps. Currently unable to get anything on the app to come up. About to delete reinstall. Still even with these annoyances, I use it daily.

Updating my review, this app is no longer offering apps of value. The last three apps I have tried to download either charged me, or didn’t even work. This app used to be awesome. Now they offer apps that either just don’t work or take your money deceitfully.

Been using this app for more than a decade now. . . I think hahaha. Anyways mostly junk/low effort apps With low to no customer service appears but occasionally a gem or two pops up which makes keeping this app around worth it! Thank AppsGoneFree Team!

So much lagging

I always find apps for free that I can use. I check it every day to see if there’s anything that catches my eye.

I have had this app for as long as I can remember, and I was an iPhone 3 owner. I’m not sure when I actually found it, but it has been a constant!! I love looking in it for past apps and the daily free ones. Learning what is out there to satisfy my A.D.H.D. curiosity has been thrilling. But the best thing now is I got the iPhone 16 MaxPro with 1TB of storage, and I am able to download to my heart’s content as many apps as I want! I had filled my 256GB iPhone 12, and now I spend all day and night getting EVERYTHING MY little heart desires without a care in the world. Thank you for your great advice, your short concise synopsis of each app, your headings of why you picked them, who they are for, AND who can pass that up that one. You even put the ratings that are out there for each app. You hit all the markers, and I love it!! Well done

Great app. I know someone who quit drinking from an Apps Gone Free, free lifetime subscription for a drinking recovery app and this alone makes this app worth it. * If you’re aware of the ins and outs of AppAdvice-the following info is not for you* If there is a problem with a free lifetime app, try these suggestions…. • Carefully reread instructions. • Cancel the free 1-6 month or yearly trials under “subscriptions” in the device settings. Once the trial is cancelled, you can still use the app for the remaining time, it just won’t charge you now at the end of the trial. • If you know you subscribed for lifetime and it no longer recognizes that you’re subscribed, look for “restore purchases” usually located on the app paywall page. Lastly…. • for lifetime fails, email the developer for a possible fix from their end-I had to do this once after a two week period, the lifetime free app kept bugging me to pay. The dev said their servers were overloaded so they sent me a new link and it worked. • If you need a refund - submit a refund request through the Apple App Store. Apple is really good about refunds for unwanted purchases.

I’ve loved this app but occasionally I click on one and it charges my apple account and when I try to get a refund from them, nobody will respond to my emails.

This app is great for discovering new apps for the iPhone and iPad.

Useless app, only shows you, one day “free” trial, you give away your personal info to the app displayed in exchange for a day of “trial”, they will make it hard to cancel your subscription and usually you will get charged and is a nightmare to cancel ; also your info gets harvested and sold to third parties , later phone calls email will spam your account

This app is amazing! I’ve been using it for years and have gotten countless amazing free apps.
